# Keeper's Notes — 07/14/2026

*By G's ruling on the 07-14 report, Q8: "nothing in this session is added to the 'minutes' of the CouncilOfUn because Ali is not yet on the council as Omar" — the session's record lives here, keeper-side, whole. Names per the sheet: `04` = Maxwell (with bleed), `00`–`03` = Ali playing Omar. Up: the doorway.*

## The record of the session

- `0:00` — Omar aboard the **Silver Surfer** with **Landis**; the galley sign reads "the ascended drink for free."
- `3:39`–`7:54` — An ancient installation found on the sea floor; Omar's gene opens the outer door.
- `13:11`–`14:58` — Four consoles named: communications, power, geopower, operations. State at discovery: geopower offline, batteries 50%, communications offline, operations locked, a force-field leak draining power.
- `20:07` — The station's final received recording is corrupt and unrecoverable.
- `22:52` — The station named on its own log: **McPower**.
- `26:00`–`26:46` — Geothermal charging initiated, auto-cutoff at 89%; operations unlocked by Landis's key.
- `28:43`–`29:20` — **Life science detector** acquired; ruled not legendary.
- `31:07`–`34:35` — The ring room ("the ring of fire"); destination list holds exactly one entry: **Lantia**.
- `37:01`–`37:23` — **A one-time gift, not a rule change** (G's ruling on Q7): two ring platforms outright — one at McPower, its pair in Atlantis — the five-turn cost held for any third.
- `37:47`–`38:49` — **Ring passcode set to 1123** *(keeper-side only, G's ruling on Q8)*; the three-errors self-destruct reversed in the moment.
- `42:30`–`43:36` — Sonar dish replugged, the three-phase cable reseated; power at 90%, communications online.
- `45:07` — Rate fixed: the telegraph costs a dollar a word.
- `48:53`–`49:35` — Disclosed forward: a wraith captured at Atlantis, to be tortured on Omar's return; **it was Tax's idea to make Rainbow head chief torture officer.**
- `49:39`–`50:28` — **THE RESEARCH MECHANIC stated at table** — the three phases, "this is how you make new departments; you train people three tiers at a time." Codified in the Research Doctrine; the will/would variance weighed and dismissed on G's word.
- `50:41`–`50:58` — The couriering department established (by Tax); head courier titled **Courier One**; **Daniels is chief botanist**.
- `53:03` — Ali declares Omar **takes the mantle of Francis Littleman**, run science-y. *(Same mantle as the Littlemaker — G's ruling on Q3.)*
- `53:19`–`53:28` — "No more character sheets… no more die" — **table talk explaining the game**, not a rules change (G's ruling on Q9).
- `59:30`–`1:00:42` — Omar, in a knight's helmet, crosses the conference room mid-session, yells "MURDER," and takes a jumper, cloaking on departure.
- `1:02:18`–`1:05:40` — McPower supplies Atlantis at 25% efficiency; **one cloak module, one shield module**, either device, never both, ~15 minutes to swap; Omar elects the cloak for the station.
- `1:07:22`–`1:07:47` — **The two-vote scheme taken in principle**: a fabricated faction of woken Lantians, their power traded for a council seat, votes proxied through McPower. *Not enacted; now rides as an interrogatory item with the Littlemaker Menu, per G's ruling on Q6.*
- `1:08:16`–`1:08:40` — **"The council can do anything, so long as it adds it to the record."** Tax presently the only deciding member; Omar's seat reserved; on his return a two-seated council, both seats with veto; bylaws wanted.
- `1:10:55`–`1:11:30` — **Between-session play established**: work orders sent to the Keeper, started between sessions; telegraphs relayed, padded with decoys.
- `1:13:05`–`1:13:58` — On the Janai: "a form of them is dead." **Landis wrote Cinco a handbook of standard operating procedures**; a later revision coming; Omar must persuade him for a copy.

## The table, off the record

- The station's name never lands twice the same way (McPowder, the Makadoop, Mick Power, McPowdo).
- The **priestly pocket**: "It has many entrances, but it's only one pocket."
- The mistranslation gag: "Nuclear and power look very similar."
- The line dropped at `10:30` and came back; "Union County" unexplained.
- "Off the record" is a live register at this table, used by both sides.
- Metagaming discussed openly as a table rule of thumb.
- Combat deliberately deferred.
- Household: **Jeff is Taxe off-mic in another room** (not playing, picked up by mistake, speaking of a mutual friend Geoff); **"Allen" is the dog Allie** being called — G's ruling on Q4. The `UNKNOWN` bursts are room noise, left unnamed.
- Threads open: the telegram's wording unsettled; "Can I put a safe on the thing?" unanswered; the cloak defeats sight but not the cable; the fake-ancients faction agreed in principle, not enacted; "sciency" trait implementation unsolved *(now answered by the Littlemaker Menu)*; the Janai "forms" half-explained.

## Quotables, kept keeper-side with the rest

| Time | Voice | Line |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `0:00` | Maxwell | "the ascended drink for free" |
| `13:55` | Maxwell | "Nuclear and power look very similar." |
| `17:18` | Ali | "this is why I can't know things about the game without being in the game because that would fuck up how I play" |
| `29:42` | Maxwell | "You only have one. It has many entrances, but it's only one pocket." |
| `38:55` | Maxwell | "That's good, because now that I said it aloud, I won't forget it." |
| `46:22` | Maxwell | "I set this up to be cooperative, but I know you want to go a little evil. If you want to go evil, I've given you a chip." |
| `50:08` | Maxwell | "This is how you make new departments. You train people three tiers at a time." |
| `50:52` | Maxwell | "That is the title. You get no more names." |
| `59:03` | Ali | "I gotta hand it to you. You are making this really tight. You are tying everything really fucking well." |
| `1:00:49` | Maxwell | "Murder. That's not where I thought that was going, by the way." |
| `1:07:57` | Ali | "That's not an option, that's the option." |
| `1:08:16` | Maxwell | "The council can do anything, so long as it adds it to the record." |

## The Divine-Arcs List — keeper-side, running

> [!NOTE] APPENDED — the list homed here on G's mark
> By G's checked box **Keeper's notes** at 25.1 §VII, answering 24.2 §III. If a per-session home is wanted instead, say the word and the list moves whole. — *Fen, Keeper of the ANNEX & Warden of the Append-Only Word · 08/11/2026, 6:40p*
